Acceptable Use Policy
Viznerve sends email and drafts client-facing work on your behalf. That trust cuts both ways — here’s what fair use of the platform looks like.
01Purpose & scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets the rules for using Viznerve, a product of VizNerve LLC. It applies to everyone who accesses the Viznerve application or website, and forms part of our Terms of Service. If you let your team use your studio account, you’re responsible for their compliance too.
02Acceptable use
Viznerve is built for one job: running the front office of a real studio. Acceptable use means using it for that job — triaging genuine inbound inquiries, drafting replies and quotes to people you have a legitimate business relationship with, managing your own clients, projects, and finances, and connecting accounts you own or are authorised to connect. Use it honestly, within the limits of your plan, and in compliance with the law that applies to you.
03Prohibited uses
You must not use Viznerve to:
- Break the law — store, process, or transmit content that is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or that violates anyone’s privacy or other rights.
- Infringe intellectual property — send or store content you don’t have the rights to use.
- Send spam — use connected accounts to send bulk unsolicited email, deceptive messages, or anything that violates anti-spam law (CAN-SPAM, GDPR/PECR, and similar). Viznerve drafts replies to people who wrote to you — it is not a cold-email cannon, and using it as one is grounds for termination.
- Distribute malware — upload, link to, or transmit viruses, worms, or any other harmful code.
- Scrape or harvest — crawl, scrape, or bulk-extract data from the service, or collect other users’ information.
- Reverse-engineer — decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code or underlying models of the service, except where the law grants you that right regardless of this policy.
- Circumvent limits — bypass or manipulate rate limits, usage limits, or the credit system, including automating requests to avoid metering.
- Share accounts — share sign-in access with people outside your studio, or resell or sublicense access without our written permission.
- Build a competitor from our outputs — use the service or its outputs to develop or train a competing product or AI model.
04Security & integrity violations
You must not:
- Access, or attempt to access, another studio’s data, or any account or system you’re not authorised to use.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service, or breach any security or authentication measure, without our prior written consent.
- Overload or disrupt the service — including denial-of-service attacks, sending abnormal request volumes, or interfering with other customers’ use.
- Forge headers or otherwise misrepresent the origin of any message sent through the service.
05AI-specific use
Viznerve’s drafting and classification are AI-powered, which comes with its own rules:
- Don’t use the AI to generate content that is deceptive, discriminatory, harassing, or designed to mislead recipients about who is writing or why.
- Don’t attempt to manipulate the AI into ignoring its safeguards or producing prohibited content.
- You review before it ships. AI drafts are suggestions and can be wrong. You’re responsible for reviewing every AI-generated draft, quote, and classification before sending or acting on it — what leaves your studio is yours.
06Enforcement
If you violate this policy, we may — depending on severity — warn you, remove content, throttle or suspend the account, or terminate it under the Terms of Service. For serious violations (spam, security attacks, illegal content) we may suspend first and explain after. We may also report unlawful activity to, and cooperate with, law enforcement and other authorities where required or appropriate.
07Reporting abuse
If you believe a Viznerve account is being used in violation of this policy — for example, you received spam or abusive email sent through the platform — report it to [email protected] with the message headers or other evidence. A real person reads every report.
08Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we’ll update the effective date above and notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
