Gmail integration

A Gmail CRM for creative studios: your inbox, read and sorted.

Gmail is how inquiries reach Viznerve, and the one connection that changes your week. It reads your inbound mail read-only, turns the real inquiries into records, and drafts replies that wait for your approval.

What happens when you connect Gmail

You click connect and approve access on Google's own consent screen. There are no API keys to paste and no IT ticket. Access is read-only, through a verified Google sign-in. The exact permissions are shown on that Google screen before you agree.

From the moment it is connected, Viznerve reads new inbound messages, matches senders to clients, and turns real inquiries into records you can work: who asked, for what, by when. Inquiry triage then sorts each one hot, warm or cold against what you told it about your studio.

What it reads, and how much

The first sync reads a capped batch of recent mail, not your whole history. After that it only picks up new messages. When you want inquiries to appear as they land, you can switch to live sync.

It reads to help you. Replies are drafted in your studio's voice and held in an approval queue; nothing is sent as you without your approval, and a reply to a client's email can never send on its own. See how Nerve acts.

What is stored

Email bodies are cached encrypted with a key unique to your studio and purged after a retention window, 30 days unless you change it. The lasting value is the structured record (the inquiry, the client, the draft, the decision), not a second copy of your mailbox.

Connection tokens are encrypted with a key unique to your studio and never logged, every studio is isolated at the database layer, and all traffic is over HTTPS. Your data is not sold and is not used to train any AI model. The full picture is on security and data.

How to revoke access

Disconnecting takes one click and does not need a support request.

  1. Open Settings in Viznerve and find the connected accounts.
  2. Disconnect Gmail. Access is revoked immediately, and Viznerve deletes the connection and stops reading on the spot.
  3. Export your studio's data whenever you like. Deleting your account removes your studio data within 30 days.

You can also remove Viznerve's access from your Google account's own security settings at any time.

What it costs

Connecting and reading cost no credits. You spend credits only on actions Viznerve takes for you, such as processing an inquiry or drafting a reply, at one fixed price per action. The 14-day free trial includes 150 credits and needs no card. See how credits work.

What Gmail is not for here

Viznerve is not a replacement mail client and does not archive your mailbox. It is the layer that reads the inquiry, drafts the reply and the quote, and keeps the follow-up moving. Calendar and Stripe are separate connections you add later; start with Gmail. See all integrations.

Common questions

Is Viznerve really read-only on Gmail?

Access is read-only through a verified Google sign-in. Replies are drafted for your approval and nothing is sent without it.

Does it read my whole inbox history?

No. The first sync reads a capped batch of recent mail, then only new messages.

How long are email bodies kept?

Cached encrypted with a key unique to your studio and purged after a retention window, 30 days unless you change it.

How do I disconnect Gmail?

One click in Settings revokes access immediately.

What does this cost to run?

Each action has one fixed credit price: an inquiry processed is 5 credits, an inbox reply drafted 2, an Ask Nerve answer 1. The reminders and follow-ups Nerve drafts on its own never cost a credit, and an action that does not finish costs nothing. See what costs a credit.
